Abstract<\/strong>
\nThe article analyzes the toponym Chornobaivka<\/em> as the newest neocement. Its transition to the active vocabulary of Ukrainian speakers is traced, to the connotational changes caused by an extralingual, in particular, event factor \u2013 military actions during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. Ways of realizing the high humorous potential of this oikonym, which became one of the original and powerful verbal tools of resistance to the armed aggression of the Rashists, are highlighted.
\nIn the proper name of Chornobaivka<\/em> in 2022, the meaning \u201crepeated mass destruction of the Russian occupiers and\/or their equipment\u201d was actualized, accompanied by a) the acquisition of a quantitative dimension, b) the realization of the connotation \u201cparticipant in a sports competition \/ match,\u201d \u201cseries,\u201d \u201cdirector,\u201d \u201cartist,\u201d \u201ccity of dreams,\u201d \u201cseaside settlement,\u201d \u201choly place,\u201d \u201chell,\u201d \u201ccemetery.\u201d
\nUnderstanding the transition of the Armed Forces from defense to attack, the speakers used the oikonym Chornobaivka<\/em> in a language game with subjects and the locus of action, with other toponyms, with a creative basis, as well as in a language game at the structural-textual level, using the addition of a well-known catchphrase by framing or replacing the components of the known text.
\nThe newly acquired connotations of the toponym Chornobaivka<\/em> contributed to the productivity of the process of creating neologisms from it, for example, Brianobaivka, Zmiiebaievka<\/em>, chernobait, pro-chernobait, odchernobait.
\nIn 2022, the toponym Chornobaivka<\/em> became so semantically capacious and self-sufficient that it was able to perform the function of a whole text, due to which the Internet was flooded with numerous multimodal memes with this key, and often the only verbal component. The very word Chornobaivka<\/em> became a self-sufficient meme.
\nThe change in the war situation, in particular the liberation of the legendary village of Chornobaivka,<\/em> affected the frequency of the use of its name in Ukrainian discourse: now there is a reverse process of returning the corresponding toponym to the passive part of the vocabulary, which, however, does not diminish the role it played as a word-weapon and word-mastermind.
