CONTEMPORARY RELIGIOUS DISCOURSE IN THE SPACE OF UKRAINIAN NATIONAL IDENTITY: MEDIATISATION OF CHURCH DIALOGUES

Abstract
The article proposes the structure of the modern religious discourse of the Ukrainian literary language. Two subdiscourses are identified – external religious and internal religious. The religious discourse of the OCU is characterized as a dialogue. The activity of the process of mediatization of religious discourse is noted. It is emphasized that the dialogical genres of sermon, speech, appeal, and message, which are communicatively and stylistically characterized, are actively influenced by the language of journalism due to the active social, nation-centric position of the OCU. At the same time, the interaction of the church with state institutions contributes to the renewal of the official business style, the expansion of its vocabulary at the expense of church and religious vocabulary.
It is noted that the lack of attention of scientists to the texts of various subdiscourses creates broad prospects for the development of linguostylistics, the culture of the language of translation, theolinguistics, lexicography, linguoculturology, etc.
The development of church and religious life in Ukraine is accompanied by a reliance on the concept of DIALOGUE – with believers, the entire national-state community. Mediatization affects: (1) changes in the cult genres of the Ukrainian literary language, where in the idiolects of the clergy it acquires a regional coloring in terms of emphasis, the use of grammatical forms, and colloquial and everyday vocabulary; (2) modification of the vocabulary of the language of journalism, paraphrases, metaphors, and symbolism, which contributes not only to the informational polythematic nature of the language of the media, but also to the stabilization of elevated socially significant registers of assessment, the dissemination of universal human values of existence; (3) the vocabulary of the official-business style is expanding under the influence of the processes of standardization of the business language of the church and religious sphere; (4) there is a gradual expansion of the colloquial and everyday vocabulary of speakers due to special language and etiquette formulas for addressing the clergy and believers, the formation of a national culture of communication on Christian-religious topics is taking place, the linguistic foundations of the ritual and everyday traditions of the church are being restored. The religious context of Ukrainian linguistic and cultural existence is one of the weighty arguments for interpreting the causes and consequences of statelessness on Ukrainian lands during the times of totalitarianism, which strengthens the foundations of the formation of a religious-publicistic (media) subdiscourse.
