Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of special texts written by modern Ukrainian writers (Ivan Malkovych, Yuriy Andrukhovych, Iryna Tsilyk, Kateryna Kalytko, Oksana Zabuzhko, Yevheniіa Kuznetsova) for the radio dictation of national unity (2020–2025). The semantics of the keywords – home, road, life, memory, park – as markers of the time slice of literary language, which reflects the moods and thoughts of people during the war, is considered.
The important informational and sensory role of the spoken word (voice) and the written word, which we remember when reading books, as well as when writing down what we hear, is emphasized. The emphasis is on examples of writing words, the use of punctuation marks, which require the development of literate writing skills. Numerous examples of writing words together, separately, with a hyphen, as well as original examples of using colons and dashes in radio dictation texts will be helpful for Ukrainian language teachers and journalists. Emotional radio dictation texts, filled with evaluative vocabulary, interspersed with local names, and deictic words, broaden the worldview of Ukrainians and contribute to the realization that the Ukrainian language is the language of national unity.
Key words: national identity, author’s text of radio dictation, emotional-expressive style, spelling norm, lexical, grammatical norm, punctuation, variation of punctuation marks.
