Heading: ARTISTIC AND PUBLICISTIC DISCOURSE OF PAVLO ZAHREBELNYI
Language: Ukrainian

Abstract
The article attempts to reveal the mono-personological and poly-personological aspects of the elite linguistic personality of the prominent Ukrainian writer Pavlo Zahrebelnyi on the basis of the documentary film texts “Pavlo Zahrebelnyi. In Question‘ (2014), ’Pavlo Zahrebelnyi. Sonnet 29‘ (2000), ’The Miracle Keys of Pavlo Zahrebelnyi” (2009).
The writer, as a representative of national culture, accordingly reveals the national language picture of the world, a certain linguistic, cultural and communicative model. The work and public activity of P.A. Zahrebelnyi as a famous writer, cultural figure, official, and politician involved constant media representation, which is why chronicle film documents are an important source for the linguistic and personological reception of the artist’s figure.
In biographical film texts that use the writer’s interviews, we are talking about the artist’s verbal self-presentation, because an elite linguistic personality in media discourse purposefully constructs his or her public image.
The writer’s verbal self-presentation in the analysed documentary film texts demonstrates creative, original use of language resources aimed at creating a holistic image of the prominent artist in the information and cultural context of the era. In the fate and work of Pavlo Zahrebelnyi, mono-personological and poly-personological aspects are complementary and mutually reinforcing. The unique individual experience that served to form him as a master of words, a public figure, and especially as an elite linguistic personality, is projected onto the understanding of the figure of Pavlo Zahrebelnyi in the Ukrainian national and world cultural space.
Key words: linguistic personology, linguistic stylistics, elite linguistic personality, writer, verbal self-presentation.
