Abstract
The issue of poetic language functioning is one of the most important in contemporary Ukrainian linguistics, which is why it has been addressed by linguists of many generations. Despite the considerable academic achievements in this field, such studies remain relevant today. This is due both to the complexity of the subject itself and to the dynamic development of the literary domain. Among the artists whose work is being studied by researchers, the figure of Lina Kostenko stands out. However, the published results of numerous linguistic investigations, unfortunately, do not provide a complete and holistic reflection of the entire richness and uniqueness of the poetess’s poetic language. This encourages further scientific research, in particular in the field of adjusting the linguistic scope of the artist’s texts with stylistic means of lexical and grammatical creation, which contribute to the saturation of poetic lines with artistic and aesthetic meanings.
Based on the results of the analysis, the scientist concludes that the expressiveness of the artist’s poetic narrative is facilitated by anadiplosis (contact repetition), prosapodosis (distant repetition), doubling (can have both contact and distant implementation options), polyptoton (lexical-morpho-syntactic repetition), annomination (lexical-morpheme-syntactic repetition), anaphora, epiphora, epistrophe, gradation, zeugma, homoeoteleutus. The introduction of these lexical and grammatical means into the fabric of the poetic text makes it possible to intensify and express the reproduced, clarify the expressed, express the artistic and stylistic effect, and embody the author’s creative idea.
Key words: linguostylistics, poetic language, lexical and grammatical device, artistic and stylistic effect, stylistic figure.
