Language: Ukrainian

Abstract
The article investigates the specifics of representing the national picture of the world in the poetic discourse of the Kyiv Neoclassicists (M. Zerov, M. Rylskyі, P. Fylypovych, M. Drai-Khmara, Yurii Klen) through the prism of their reception of Taras Shevchenko’s language creativity. It is substantiated that the “fivefold cluster” (“piatirne hrono”) achieved a qualitative paradigmatic transition from a traditional populist perception of the Kobzar to a profound intellectual interpretation, positioning the poet as the cornerstone of high culture. The study proves that key Shevchenko dominants – garden, word, Ukraine – are transformed in the Neoclassicists’ discourse from mythopoetic archetypes into modern intellectual topos and categories of ontological order that resist chaos. A multifaceted vision of the artist is analyzed, revealed through the analytical distinction of three hypostases: Shevchenko – the human, Shevchenko – the poet (as the demiurge of the national Logos), and Shevchenko – the artist. It is established that for the Neoclassicists, the reception of Shevchenko’s word served as an instrument for national-cultural self-identification and overcoming non-existence.
Key words: Taras Shevchenko, Neoclassicists, national picture of the world, reception, language creativity, word-image, garden, word, Ukraine.
